This is an amazing community center-facility that is being built on Mfangano Island. Their literature states "Through local and global partnerships, and a unique solar powered resource facility called teh Ekialo Kiona Center, we are activating information technology, social solidarity and ecological sustainability to turn the tide against HIV/AIDS". This area, a remote beach community, face one of the most serious HIV/AIDS crises in the world.
