How did you hear about us and a few words why you want to join EBB:
Through Volunteer Calgary website.
I have a Bachelors of Education from the University of Alberta and taught for 3 years, in my hometown of Calgary, AB and 1 year overseas. The red tape of the certification process did not encourage a continuation the system but I have since been pursuing opportunities to use my educator heart and learned skills. I love being able to support education & development in many ways (as travel has always been a part of my life including teaching and living in South America for 6 months) and TWB seems to be the place where I can continue to support, contribute to, and network within what I still consider my professional field, as well as keep learning and keep in touch with a world beyond my own borders.
