I am a university professor who educates teachers for the pre-school and primary school levels and at the graduate level in international education/development issues. My research has been based in Kenya, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Namibia. I would be interested in becoming more involved in teachers without borders/education beyond borders.

Teacher education in still-developing countries / preparation of teachers to teach and live abroad / particular interest in tapping local teachers' expertise and working with and from that (i.e. not top down)/ helping teachers see what can be done with few text and other teaching materials...and so on.

How did you hear about us and a few words why you want to join EBB:
EBB interests me as a possible channel for applying my teaching and research experience in the still developing world. I probably first heard about EBB and teachers without borders through the newpapers and other media as well as from colleagues who have worked and taught abroad.
