I amcurrently the ESL consultant for the Vancouver Board of Education and am interested in volunteering in developing countries in the summer either working with teachers or students.

If you have done work internationally, where and in what capacity?

Went to South Africa with the BCTF in the summer of 1999 to help assist the S A Democratic Teachers Union.

curriculum development, mentor teaching, organisational partnerships, workshop facilitation

How did you hear about us and a few words why you want to join EBB:

There is a group in Vancouver that had the same name, but seem to have renamed themselves Educators Without Borders; I am not certain what they are currently up to, but I would like to be involved with a group who is out there doing meaningful things. I am wodering iif you are organizing to go into Haiti this summer to work with kids and /or teachers.
