-student centred teaching and learning
-teaching math through problem solving and critical thinking

(the above three teaching methods were the basis of my masters of education thesis)
-use a great deal of technology in my teaching (TI Navigator, TI calculators, geometers sketch pad, SMARTBoard)
-interested in sports
-interested in forming connections between my (very) fortunate school and community and other (less fortunate) communities

How did you hear about us and a few words why you want to join EBB:
I attended a presentation on Friday by Sharon Peters and she spoke highly of the program. She made it sound like an exciting and worthwhile experience. I am very passionate about mathematics intruction and making math a fun and enjoyable subject. I would love to share what I know with others. I would also love to get a chance to form connections with those in other communities.
