Skills & Interests

I am a certified personal trainer (National Academy of Sports Medicine), therefore I am quite active, especially as a runner. I have coached many teams over the years in sports such as soccer, basketball, hockey (both genders). I am very comfortable using technology.

If you have done work internationally, where and in what capacity?

I have volunteered for short one to two week stints with organizations in Tanzania (CARE) and in Thailand. I also worked with Right To Play/UNICEF for one year in southern Thailand. I was their project coordinator and it involved professionally developing local teachers to engage student using sports and active games.

How did you hear about us and a few words why you want to join EBB:

I'm not sure where I first heard about TWB - most likely just word of mouth. I want to join simply because there may be an opportunity for me to use my skill set to improve the education system in a disadvantaged area. I'd like to contribute as best I can to help make people's lives better.
