How did you hear about us and a few words why you want to join EBB:
As an educator, your organization is well- known in the field.
I've always wanted to be more involved on an international basis, and now that my daughter is grown, I have more time to be involved this way. Currently, my responsibilities as a counsellor is to work with southern teachers who come north with regard to helping them adjust to the culture, the northern classroom, and the programs we have designed.
I am also part of the design team for the new ESL competency program we have created. I am responsible for workshops with teachers in terms of remedial reading for secondary students, discipline workshops, writing workshops, differentiated instruction workshops, and so on.
I also work with Special Education teachers in terms of looking at the evaluation of a student's needs and deciding how to tweak the program to fit the student.
I think that I have a lot to offer TWB-Canada. I hope you will allow me the opportunity to be part of this great project.
