If you have done work internationally, where and in what capacity?
I was born and raised in India but I am a Canadian citizen. I have studied throughout my primary and secondary school education in School which was instituted on Gandhijee’s Philosophy located in state of Gujarat, India. My bringing up in India provided me an excellent opportunity to build up strong foundation of my understanding for education and commitment to community involvement. My volunteer work with various organizations provided me ample opportunities to develop in depth understanding and care for community and children. I lived in Zambia and Botswana and spent a significant amount of time teaching in university of Botswana. For the past thirteen years, in Canada, I have remained in the Education and Research Field and teaching Gujarati Language part-time.
How did you hear about us and a few words why you want to join EBB:
I heard from a friend. I want to join Teachers Without Borders (TWB) because of my passion for making education available for all as well as teaching and learning altogether.
