I love language: reading, writing, listening and speaking, and i love helping people to use and appreciate language in all its forms.
I think visual and verbal expression can be used together to enhance both. I try to engage multiple intelligences in my teaching practice. I make a lot of art - multi-media.

I have been a member of the BCTF Cuba project for over ten years, which involved four trips to Cuba to lead/participate in workshops for school teachers, student teachers, and professors in a range of disciplines, at pedagogical universities. Theories of teaching were shared and wonderful exchanges were the result. I helped lead a student work tour to Cuba - Global Perspectives.
How did you hear about us and a few words why you want to join EBB:
(Some of the above volunteer work would need to be done when i am retired in a few years. I am unable to volunteer much during the school year.)
I met Mali at a Solidarity workshop at the BCTF, and have been following the African news for some time. It is exciting what you do, and I would like to be a part of it.
