As a licensed teacher, I am particularly interested in teacher quality in developing countries as a way to empower adult agency and to promote student learning. I am interested in Latin America.

If you have done work internationally, where and in what capacity?

I have worked in Nicaragua in several orphanages. I have been able to conduct a day training seminars for a group of 30 teachers as well as a parenting class on education.

How did you hear about us and a few words why you want to join EBB:

I discovered EBB as I was searching NGO's in Vancouver. I am a current graduate student at Harvard Graduate School of Education studying International Education Policy. I want to join EBB to explore how an NGO is promoting excellence in teaching through community and teacher training.
