How did you hear about us and a few words why you want to join EBB:
I'm actually planning on helping out at a school called Joyland Academy in Mbita, Kenya later this year. I googled Mbita to see what the area is like and found a story and photos from a visit by teachers through on your website. I was captivated by the work your organisation does because I do not know of any here in Australia that could assist myself or any other teachers who would wish to volunteer in Africa.
I think there is a lot of potential for teachers here in Melbourne to become a part of your group, as I know several in my cohort alone who are going overseas to volunteer, and I think my university (Melbourne University) and some others may hopefully be interested in endorsing or promoting the work you do and opportunities you offer to graduate teachers.
