I have been teaching music (instrumental and vocal), French and social sciences in Canada (and two years in Hong Kong), for the past fifteen years in formal, public school settings.
In addition to speaking French and English, I have a conversational level of Spanish, and continue to study Cantonese and Mandarin on my own.
My hobbies, in addition to playing music and learning languages include studying, reading, writing, travel and outdoor recreation.
If you have done work internationally, where and in what capacity?
I have taught music (instrumental and vocal) and French in Hong Kong, at the secondary level, for two years after finishing my Master's degree in administration. My duties included conducting the school wind ensemble, orchestra and choir, as well as instructing French classes. My students were from India, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippeans and mainland China.

How did you hear about us and a few words why you want to join EBB:
I heard about TWB from the Nova Scotia Teachers' Union Website. I am interested in international work in the field of education, and feel I have a ksill set which can enable me to make a worthwhile contribution helping colleagues in other parts of the world to develop and implement programs.
