Ebola Conference 25 Schools From Around The World Oct. 28, 2014

On behalf of the World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh, World Class Schools, State YMCA of Pennsylvania, the Centre for Global Education, Allegheny Intermediate Unit 3, MAGPI, and ESC Region XIII, thank you for your interest today in the Ebola Crisis Video Conference! This was a large undertaking and the first international conference of its size using four different types of video conferencing: Life Size Solutions, H 323, Zoom and Blue Jeans.

We had 25 schools in 13 countries (Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Canada, Ghana, India, Iran, Lebanon, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa, Taiwan, and the United States) participate in today’s video conference. In all, over 400 students participated via video conference and over 200 watched the livestream! Thank you again to Mike Cunningham for connecting us to new friends!
