ICT in Education content delivery has finally come to stay in Sub-Sahara West Africa.
Connecting Classrooms is a global education programme for schools. It is designed to help young people learn about global issues and become responsible global citizens, as well as giving them the skills to work in a global economy. It offers school partnerships; professional development courses for teachers; accreditation; and the chance to share best practice with international counterparts.
The Connecting Classrooms Programme is funded in partnership with the UK Government through the Department for International Development.
It took the participants from Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal and Sierria Leone 5 whole dday to be fully prepared for the task ahead.
This course is part of a small suite of materials provided by the British Council for developing ICT skills to support Connecting Classrooms. The materials cover four areas:
1 Introduction to ICT; 2 ICT for Professional Networking;
3 Using ICT in international projects; 4 E-safety.
Our task now is to BRIDGE THE GAP and ensure it works
