• 5 visits to India to help Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai, Tamil Nadu with educational projects (revamped their training program for ophthalmic paramedical staff; wrote/edited a series of modules on creating a high quality, large volume, financially sustainable cataract surgery program in a developing nation context)
• offered workshops in the Philippines and Thailand (Council of All Beings)
