I like biking, swimming, hiking, raising chicken, collecting rocks, bird watching and star gazing. I love to travel and meet new people. I've spent time studying in Mexico. I've traveled to Singapore and Japan to connect with family and culture. I am close to the Hawaiian and Mexican cultures.

Taught English to Japanese students for 6 weeks in Salem, OR. - they were here on an exchange program. I traveled to Japan to give a presentation to these students in their high school 3 months later.

I was host mom for a high school student from Thailand for 6 months. I tutored her in English.

I've observed Canadian schools (BC)
I've observed schools and presented in Singapore schools.
