Taking Teachers to Africa

Here I will attempt to chronicle the adventures as I take two groups of Canadian educators and try to organize our lives for two months. One group to South Africa to share their expertise and experiences through best practices workshops in ICT integration with their peers in rural townships. And the other group to share their expertise and experiences through best practices workshops with their peers in rural Kenya in the latest teaching and assessment models with a focus on English, math and… Continue

I developed this digital book for my friends with a remarkable school in Kitale Kenya.

They have simple formula. For every paid child they take in a street child. This year has been hard on them. Margaret who manages the school is drowning in medical bills and fire burned down a chunk of their dorms. This place is a beacon of light between two slums. There is a digital book at their site we developed for them http://purposedriveedcenter.ning.com
Perhaps you group would like to take this project on.

My work is a http://globallearningframework.ning.com

Let's save some lives

Noble - I am off to Panama with 20 students in 2 weeks. They will be blown away. I am also going ahead with the other project we spoke of. Check out my pages: http://liti.ca/

Is there anything I can do to get some promo from you? I need to get this out - I believe it will make a difference in every student who becomes a part of liti. Cheers, Dave Fehr

Good day

I missed out on your workshops apologise was attending the Microsoft Innovative Teachers Awards as a Finalist. On the 6th I remembered but was too late. Could we still share resources, I could not open your material on google docs. The training that you gave could I perhaps get an overview of it please.

Kindest Regards

Hi Kelly,
I hope you are fine.I got yoyr message enquiring whether i was on skype. I formatted my hard disc yesterday and did not rmember to keep the Kenya ICT policy document .I will try sending it to you if i get my hands on it tomorrow,
We had some nice consortium with our trainer of trainees who we sent out into the countryside to teach computer literacy to women teachers.Their ecxiting and very honest observations form part of our report that i will share with our partners and stakeholders.
These observations are core in our plan of action for which TWBC is factored in,especialy on how to sustain and get the best out of the already inducted teachers.
