How did you hear about us and a few words why you want to join EBB:
On a vacation to Kenya, Tanzania and Rawanda, I was touched by the children and their needs. As a member of a teacher preparation program, I would like to utilize my skills to help others.

I'm so happy to hear from you. I teach at Kutztown University which is one of the state universities in Pennsylvania. I am in the Elementary Education department and specialize in Early Childhood Education.
I vacationed with family in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Zambia 3 years ago and was very moved by the experience. I was especially moved the the conditions of the public schools in Kenya. Kutztown has an exchange program with Kenyatta University where one of their professors visited our campus last year. She came to speak to my students and said that public education could be 100 students with one teacher.
My students are preparing to become teachers, and I would like to find a way to have them design learning materials that could be sent to schools in Kenya. My problem so far has been finding out how to contact any schools. Does your orphange also have a school? If not where do the children go to school?
